How to remove e-mail from the servers

 The following directions will enable you to delete messages from our mail servers as you retrieve them with your computer. This prevents you from exceeding your available e-mail storage space on our servers so you don't
miss important messages.

Netscape Communicator (4.x)

  1. Open Netscape Communicator.
  2. Click "Edit" then click "Preferences".
  3. Click the + next to "Mail & Newsgroups".
  4. From the "Mail & Newsgroups" menu, click "Mail Servers".
  5. Click the Edit button for "Incoming Mail Servers".
  6. Click on the tab labeled "POP".
  7. Uncheck the "Leave mail on server" option.
  8. Click the OK button.
  9. Click the OK button.

Outlook 98

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook 98.
  2. Click "Tools", then click "Accounts".
  3. Click the "Mail" tab in the "Internet Accounts" window.
  4. Click your PVNS mail account once to select it.
  5. This may be your name or it could be pop3.pvns.net
  6. Click "Properties".
  7. Click the "Advanced" tab.
  8. Uncheck the "Leave a copy of messages on the server" setting.
  9. Click Apply, then click OK.

Outlook Express

  1. Open Microsoft Outlook Express.
  2. Click "Tools", then click "Accounts".
  3. Click the "Mail" tab in the "Internet Accounts" window.
  4. Click your PVNS mail account once to select it.
  5. This may be your name or it could be pop3.pvns.net
  6. Click "Properties".
  7. Click the "Advanced" tab.
  8. Uncheck the "Leave a copy of messages on the server" setting.
  9. Click Apply, then click OK.
